The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Electric has an all-electric powertrain that consists of dual motors and a 200 kWh battery pack. The dual-motor e4WD powertrain system provides a combined 510 hp and 615 lb-ft of torque in the WT, as well as 664 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque in the RST.

Shoppers who are holding out for the Chevy Silverado can expect a more connected driving experience, as the truck will feature leading-edge technologies. Buyers can choose between an 11.0-inch infotainment touchscreen paired with an 8.0-inch digital gauge display as well as a 17.0-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11.0-inch gauge display.
Silverado Electric will also be available with various desirable features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, a Wi-Fi hotspot, in-dash navigation, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV is roughly the same size outside as a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. Dimensions-wise, the Silverado EV will have a length of 233 inches, a wheelbase of 155.7 inches, and a height of 76 inches.
Meanwhile, the Silverado 1500 Crew Cab measures 231.7 inches in length, 147.5 inches of wheelbase, and 78.4 inches in height. Despite the two vehicles being almost identical in exterior dimensions, the Silverado EV has a larger interior than its long-running gas-powered sibling.

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Electric will have an available panoramic fixed-glass roof – the first of its kind in a GM full-size pickup. This feature provides a high roofline that ensures excellent headroom and better forward visibility.
In addition, the large panoramic roof gives the Silverado EV's interior a light, airy, open-to-the-sky feel that enhances the feeling of being in close touch with nature.
Arguably, the biggest highlight of the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Electric is the Multi-Flex Midgate, a feature that returns from the Chevrolet Avalanche, a full-size pickup truck that was discontinued after the 2013 model year. The folding Midgate on the Silverado EV allows you to fold down the wall between the bed and the cabin, extending the load length from the standard five feet to around 10 feet.
Unlike the Avalanche Midgate design, which can only be fully opened or fully closed, the avalanche features a 60/40 split lower section, enabling you to leave the rear glass in place. That means you can have one side folded at a time, fold down both sides, or open the entire middle section to accommodate large items.

The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Electric has a four-wheel steering system that gives you excellent handling and exceptional maneuverability, even in small and narrow spaces.
That's because the four-wheel steering causes the Silverado EV's front and rear wheels to turn in opposite directions at low speeds. At high speeds (over 25 mph), the wheels turn in the same direction to make it easier for drivers to change lanes.
The 2024 Silverado Electric comes with an adaptive air suspension system that allows you to set the ideal driving position for maximum comfort behind the wheel.
