Breaking and entering: Pearl Road

On May 30, police received a call from a man about a medical emergency at a Pearl Road business.

An arriving officer discovered that the caller had actually broken into the beverage store. He was arrested for breaking and entering.

On May 28, police observed a Dodge Caravan parked at a State Road gas station. The vehicle’s owner had a warrant. The Cleveland driver was arrested and held for transport.

During a search of the Dodge, police found felony drugs.

Also arrested were two men, both from Cleveland. They were all charged with drug abuse.

On May 28, police were dispatched to Skylark Drive for a welfare check. An arriving officer talked to the man in question, who it turned out was in possession of felony drugs.

The resident was also cited for disorderly conduct-intoxicated.

During a May 28 traffic stop of a Nissan Altima with an equipment violation, police discovered that the Warrensville Heights driver had a gun. He was arrested for a weapons violation.

On May 29, a Laurent Drive resident came to the police after discovering that they were the victim of a scam.

The man told the officer that he ended up buying and sending gift cards to an unknown person. There are no suspects. Police are investigating.

Drugs and car theft: Hauserman Road

On May 31, police were dispatched to a Hauserman Road address after a resident reported that someone had stolen his Chevrolet Trax from the parking lot.

An officer quickly located the Chevy, which had been stolen by a Brook Park woman who was in possession of suspected felony drugs. She was arrested for theft and drug abuse.

On May 31, police were dispatched to a Brookpark Road rental agency after an employee discovered that a rented Chevrolet Silverado hadn’t been returned. Police are investigating.
