Emergency care doctors have assessed the impact of government action to support urgent care services around the UK and branded it a “comprehensive failure.”

In a traffic light assessment of the government’s 10 point action plan aimed at mitigating pressures and improving performance settings in urgent and emergency care services, the Royal College of Emergency Medicine gave each measure a red score, denoting “inadequate.”
