In a bizarre incident, a man escaped from an ambulance and the video of the same was posted on TikTok by Meredith Scharinger with the caption, 'Bucks in 6 Baby'. According to reports, the clip has been viewed over 8 million times. 

A video shows a man in khaki shorts and a white t-shirt receiving medical attention by being placed by an EMT in the back of an ambulance stretcher trolley. However, the man resisted the paramedics and gets up from the stretcher and leaps out of the ambulance. He then starts to run on the street. 

He tries to make a short run towards a bar but collides with a waiter who drops his tray. 

Reports suggest that the man was highly intoxicated and did not want to get medical attention. People who watched the video expressed concern over the high medical cost in the US and how the man wanted to probably avoid it. 

However, it is still uncertain why the man ran away from the ambulance. However, netizens are convinced it was to avoid paying any medical fee.

In the US, an ambulance ride can cost up to $450 (Rs 33,467) and if one is airlifted, the price can go up to $21,000(Rs 15,61,825)

A user wrote, 'He didn’t want the $900 ambulance bill.' Another person commented, ‘Americans when they realise they got no health insurance.'

'Imagine the waiter trying to explain what happened to his manager,' said a third user.
